Delta is canceling additional flights between the United States and Tel Aviv due to the ongoing conflict in the region.
The company continually monitors the security environment in Israel to report cancellations of our flight schedule to and from Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport (TLV). Our hearts go out to everyone impacted as our people work to find safe alternatives for customers. Since October 24th, the following actions have been ongoing:
Additional cancellations
Delta will cancel all flights between JFK and TLV scheduled to depart between November 1st and 15th. The sale of these flights has already been halted. Additionally, although bookings were suspended earlier this month for TLV flights to/from ATL and BOS, Delta will cancel all flights between these markets starting November 1.
As cancellations are processed, customers will receive notifications through the app Fly delta and by your indicated in the reservation. Seats on Delta partner airlines remain bookable on the website delta.com, as well as through Delta Reservations when available.
Travel exemptions and refunds
Delta continues to have a travel waiver for customers who booked before October 11, 2023, to/from TLV, so they can rebook their travel on available flights through September 06, 2024. The waiver also allows affected customers wishing to cancel their trip request refunds through the Fly Delta app or delta.com. Another option is to call Delta Reservations for refund .
Continuous assessments
Delta continually monitors the rapidly evolving security environment and evaluates our operations based on security guidance and intelligence reports, including the latest travel advisory from the United States Department of States. While we are committed to helping those who need to travel, Delta will continue to make schedule adjustments, including additional cancellations on an ongoing basis, as necessary for the safety of our customers and crew.
