Another A321neo that will be part of LATAM Brazil was recently spotted in Hamburg, the German Airbus factory responsible for producing the largest aircraft in the A320 family. This time, D-AZAP (MSN 11701) was ed with a complete livery. The plane that will be the future PS-LBG was ed last Monday (18).

Including the new engine, the A321neo that will be part of LATAM Brasil are also distinguished by the black mask around the windshield. This item serves for thermal control in the cockpit glass region, as well as reducing maintenance and painting costs. The item first appeared on the A350, being later incorporated into the A330neo, and partially into the new generation A320neo.
Now, Airbus has eight units of the single-aisle jet that will be destined for the Brazilian operator. So far, data from the AIB Aviation Flights website shows that PS-LBA (MSN 11524), PS-LBB (MSN 11531), PS-LBC (MSN 11575), PS-LBD (MSN 11824), PS- LBF (MSN 11675) and finally, the PS-LBG (MSN 11701).

LATAM Brasil has an order for 12 A321neo, it is not yet known what seating configuration will be adopted by the airline, with the company's A321 ceo being configured with 224 seats in a single class.
The A321neo is the largest member of Airbus' A320neo Family, which incorporates new generation engines and sharklets, delivering more than 20 percent fuel and CO₂ savings, as well as 50 percent noise reduction. The aircraft will be equipped with Pratt & Whitney PW1133G engines, a manufacturer that the company also uses to equip its A320neo.
Check the status of the other seven aircraft in the production line:
PS-LBA/D-AYAA: located in hangar 241 awaiting painting completion;
PS-LBB/D-AVXP: being the most advanced aircraft in production, carried out the first test flight on September 13th;
PS-LBC/D-AZXA: the plane is fully painted, awaiting receipt of the engines
PS-LBF/D-AZWF: spotted with the paintwork, but also without the engines;
Planes still without photographic records, but on the Airbus production line in Hamburg:
PS-LBD/-: located near hangar 14 with the fuselage ready, but without the airline's painting;
PS-LBE/F-WWAV: in the fuselage installation section, also close to hangar 14;
PS-LBJ/D-AZXV (MSN 11824): stored in fuel test hangar.
