In recent days, the Embraer in partnership with the Brazilian Air Force (FAB), held the C-390 Millennium s Groups 2024 Conference, in São José dos Campos, São Paulo.
This year’s conference was attended by customers and partners who participated in discussions on key factors for the operation of the C-390 fleet, as well as the fleet’s service evolution plan for the coming years.
The event, considered a success for Embraer, drew attention in one of the presentations, showing the group of current operators (Brazil, Hungary and Portugal), as well as other customers who acquired the multi-mission jet, namely: Austria, South Korea, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic.
The slide also drew attention when it revealed the list of C-390 groups with three countries that have not yet officially announced the acquisition of the C-390, namely: Chile, the United Arab Emirates and Morocco.
Interestingly, if the addition of the three new countries is confirmed, the C-390 will have its first operator on the African continent if Morocco confirms its interest, also including the first South American operator besides Brazil, if Chile also confirms the acquisition.
Regarding the United Arab Emirates, the country is negotiating with Embraer to open a production line, a factor that could boost sales in strategic countries.
