Embraer announced today the expansion of its maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services network with a new partnership with Gama Aviation. The MRO located in Bournemouth, UK, will be part of Embraer’s Authorized Service Center network.
Gama Aviation will provide maintenance for the Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 jets, and base maintenance for the Legacy 600 and Legacy 650 aircraft, with a focus on customers in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The UK-based company will provide both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, as well as offering a wide range of services including painting, interiors, pre-purchase inspections, modifications and avionics upgrades.
The company’s MRO network for Executive Jets currently includes eight Embraer-owned Service Centers, ten Authorized Service Centers in Europe and 64 worldwide. Embraer Services & has also been investing in its own capacity. The business unit recently doubled its MRO capacity for executive jets in the United States, with new maintenance lines in Dallas Love Field (Texas), Cleveland (Ohio), and Sanford (Florida).
