HeliXP 2025, an exclusive event for the rotary wing sector, will be held on May 14 and 15 at Helipark, in Carapicuíba, in Greater São Paulo. The event reaches its sixth edition consolidated as an essential platform for business, networking and professional development in the helicopter sector, bringing together the main names in the market, operators and aviation enthusiasts. The event is organized by G2C Events.
Two brand representatives will bring the latest news to HeliXP: Gualter Helicópteros will show updates on the Leonardo AW09 certification process, scheduled for this year, and ABH Helicópteros will update participants on the new Robinson R88, the first unit of which was sold to the Brazilian market.
The AW09 is a single-engine helicopter that sets new standards in its category. With capacity for up to eight engers, it stands out for its spacious cabin and flat floor, facilitating reconfigurations for various missions, such as executive transport, emergency medical services (EMS) and public safety operations.
Equipped with the Safran Arriel 2K engine, the AW09 offers 1.006 SHP of power, reaching a maximum speed of 260 km/h and a range of up to 800 kilometers or five hours of flight. Its cockpit features the Garmin G3000H system, providing greater situational awareness and operational safety.
In Brazil, Gualter Helicópteros is the exclusive distributor of the model. “The AW09 represents a revolution in the light helicopter segment. The combination of advanced technology and versatility meets the most demanding demands of the Brazilian market”, says Gualter Pizzi, CEO of the company. The first deliveries are scheduled for 2026.
Robinson Helicopter Company, meanwhile, is introducing the R88, its first new model in nearly 15 years. Designed to meet a wide range of missions, the R88 features a highly configurable cabin, accommodating up to ten people (eight engers and two pilots) and an internal payload of up to 1.800 pounds.
Powered by a 2 shp Safran Arriel 1.000W engine, the R88 offers a range of over 350 nautical miles and an endurance of over 3,5 hours. The innovative design includes dual cyclic controls and is IFR certified for single-pilot operations.
ABH Helicópteros, the official distributor of Robinson in Brazil, stands out for selling the first unit of the R88 in the country. “The R88 arrives to meet a growing demand for versatile and high-performance helicopters. We are excited to bring this new product to the Brazilian market”, says Marcelo Franco Barbosa Lima, commercial director of ABH Helicópteros.

TAM Executive Aviation will also be present at HeliXP 2025 with one of the most successful helicopters on the world market: the Bell 505. The company, the official representative of Bell in Brazil, will bring not only the aircraft, but also its portfolio of solutions for the rotary wing segment.
The 505 has established itself as the sales leader in its category. With more than 80 units delivered in Brazil, the country now represents approximately 10% of the aircraft's global fleet. "It is an absolute success that has conquered Brazil and the world," says the company, which will bring its entire team to the event to present trends and innovations from the Bell line, considered one of the most advanced in the sector.
With a spacious cabin, wide visibility and a cockpit equipped with Garmin G1000H avionics, the Bell 505 offers a combination of comfort, technology and performance, making it ideal for executive transport, training, patrolling and tourism.
In addition to the 505, details and features of the 407, 429 and 525 models, all from Bell, will be presented.
