The Brazilian Air Force (FAB), in an action by the Federal Government, has just announced Operation “Cedar Roots”. The humanitarian mission will feature a KC-30 aircraft, with the initial forecast of repatriating 220 Brazilians in territory affected by the recent events between Israel and Lebanon.
The plane is scheduled to take off from Galeão Air Base (BAGL), in Rio de Janeiro (RJ), this Wednesday (02/10), bound for Beirut airport, with stops scheduled in the city of Lisbon, in Portugal.
The crew will be composed, in addition to the aircraft's operational crew, of military personnel from the health area (doctor, nurse, psychologist), who will be ready to provide the necessary during the mission.
The return of the KC-30 to Brazil will be subject to additional coordination and protocols.
