The Federal Police arrested Sao Paulo / Guarulhos International Airport, this past Thursday (28/10), a Guinean, identified by the Federal Revenue kennel team, was transporting cocaine in his luggage.

Employees of the Federal Revenue, who work with the help of sniffer dogs, separated some suitcases whose images from the x-ray machine indicated the presence of organic matter inside. When ing with the dogs through the luggage, one of them aroused the interest of the animals.

The enger who owned the suitcase, which was to be taken on a flight to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, was located inside the aircraft and taken to the police headquarters so that, in the presence of witnesses, his luggage could be examined.

The police identified the substance found, wrapped in adhesive tape in the color of each of the 20 religious candles that were in the suspect's luggage, as cocaine, whose total volume added up to 10 kg. The suspect, a 57-year-old Guinean national, who was in the country as a resident, was arrested. The final destination of his trip was the city of Conakry, Guinea.

The prisoner will be presented to the Federal Court, where he will answer for the crime of international drug trafficking.
