The first edition of Aviation XP Nordeste will show the strength of the aviation industry to the entire country. The event, which takes place on the 25th and 26th of October, will bring together for the first time several companies in the general aviation market and will feature the participation of three aviation companies in the state: Grupo JW Saraiva, a holding company of companies with more than 40 years operating in the market; Vertical Connect, an air mobility startup that works with eVTOL; and Aero Consultoria, which specializes in the approval of Aerodromes and Helipads with ANAC and DECEA. The participation of the WS Aircraft, which has just arrived in Ceará.
The AviationXP format is already consolidated in the Central-West and South, and is now arriving in the Northeast to engage a select audience of aviators, potential buyers and businesspeople. There will be an exhibition of aircraft and qualified general aviation companies, with the aim of promoting business and networking. Among the participants, local companies highlight the importance of the event for the region and its relevance in the development of the sector.
In the most recent edition, in Goiânia, Aviation XP received 3.660 visitors and 14 aircraft models. The Northeast Aviation XP will be at the Dias Branco Airfield, an airport located in Jaboti, in the municipality of Eusébio (CE).
“The event will provide valuable networking opportunities, connecting aviation partners and customers in our region, in addition to promoting the development of general aviation in the Northeast, boosting the local economy”, declares Nadja Saraiva, CEO of the JW Saraiva Group.
“AviationXP Nordeste represents a significant opportunity to demonstrate the strength and potential of the Northeast region in the aviation scenario. Vertical Connect recognizes the importance of this event and its strategic relationship with the local Development Secretariat. By participating, we strengthen our commitment to the region. We are excited to share our advances and innovations with the aviation community and visitors, strengthening ties and boosting business opportunities”, highlights Camila Bonfim, Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) at the Ceará-based startup Vertical Connect, platinum sponsor of the event.
“We see in Aviation Experience Nordeste a way of decentralizing events of this nature from the South-Southeast axis, bringing the main players in the national and international aeronautical market to the Northeast, prioritizing Northeastern companies and meeting a strong regional demand for this type of event. It is a valuable tool for promoting our products and services through the exchange of experience with a highly selected audience, with various professionals in the sector and with important customers in the aeronautical segment”, describes Commander Luiz Mendes, technical consultant at Aero Consultoria.
The event will also bring together companies, such as WS Aircraft, that are investing in the region amid the sector's expansion. The expectation is to boost the development of aviation in the Northeast, which shows economic growth of 2,2% per year, from 2002 to 2020, according to a survey by the Brazilian Institute of Economics of the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV-IBRE).
“The economic growth of the Northeast directly reflects on the development of aviation in the region. An event of this size is of great importance for connecting service providers and operators”, explains Fabíola Carneiro Barbosa, director of WS Aircraft.
