Flights to Iranian airports are suspended due to Israeli attack

An explosion was heard in the Iranian city of Ghahjaworstan, located northwest of the city of Isfahan, according to the semi-official Iranian news agency FARS, citing local sources.

“The city of Ghahjaworstan is located near Isfahan airport and the Army Air Force's eighth fighter base,” FARS News said.

Iranian Press TV also reported that an explosion was heard near the city center.

The cause of this explosion is unknown.

Flights were diverted from Iranian airspace

The flight tracking website 24 Flight Radar shows several flights diverted from Iranian airspace on Friday morning.

According to information from news agencies, Israel attacked an Iranian F-14 base and a city where Iran has nuclear plants.

Iranian news channel confirmed that anti-aircraft defense systems were activated.
