In celebration of the 298th anniversary of the capital of Ceará, Fortaleza Airport is promoting the Spotter Day event this Saturday (13/4). The occasion allows Spotters (people who have a hobby of taking photos of planes) to spend an afternoon in privileged locations of the airport's aircraft apron, to produce many photographic records.
The event is held annually by Fraport Brasil, this being the 4th edition. There were more than 70 registrants, for a selection of 30 participants, considering security and operational capacity for monitoring and managing the event.
“Each Spotter carries with them a dream of flying, flying or simply being close to these giant birds. At this event, I fulfilled one of my biggest dreams”, says Spotter Maria Isabel, who participated in the 2023 edition.
“We organized the event as a way of recognizing the work of Spotters. Each photo and record adds even more value to aviation and airport activities and, all of this, on Fortaleza's anniversary”, says Rafael Guerra, marketing manager at Fraport Brasil.
