Between the months of December 2022 and February 2023, the Blue Travel, tour operator of Azul, will increase the offer of trips to the capital of Ceará with new direct flights departing from the cities of Goiânia (GO), Porto Alegre (RS), Ribeirão Preto (SP), São José do Rio Preto (SP) and Uberlândia (MG), in addition to increases in Cuiabá (MT), Belo Horizonte (MG) and Campinas (SP).
Altogether, Fortaleza airport will have a 166% increase in the number of flights compared to the same period of the previous year.
“One of Azul Viagens' big bets this high season is the growth in Fortaleza, with the offer of more flights departing from several cities in the South, Southeast and Midwest. We decided to bet even more on this destination because of all the structure that tourists can count on to enjoy their holidays with their family”, explains Giulliana Mesquita, product manager at Azul Viagens.
Operations will take place from December 17, 2022 to January 29, 2023, on Saturdays or Sundays, with Airbus A320 aircraft, with capacity for up to 174 customers, Airbus A321, with capacity for 214 engers, and Embraer 195 jets, with capacity for 136 seats.
High season Azul Viagens
To meet the high summer season, Azul Viagens will reinforce its network between December 16, 2022 and January 29, 2023, offering more dedicated flights to serve its millions of customers who will travel next summer, which means around 45% more seats on offer compared to the same period last year.
This increase in supply on the market is the result of a great moment that the operator has been going through, sales at Azul Viagens grew 60% in the first half, compared to the same period of 2019.
If we consider only Brazilian destinations, the growth is 70%. For this reason, Azul Viagens invests a lot in Brazil and believes that this will be a record high season.
In addition to complete packages with air, hotel, transfers and tours, Azul Viagens customers will be able to enjoy the entire experience provided by Azul on their trips around Brazil, with free Wi-Fi service on board, live TV and on-board service with snacks and drinks available.
