Four people died and two were seriously injured when an Antonov An-26 transport aircraft of the Border Guard Service of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan (NSC) crashed this Saturday (13) at 17:22 local time.
The aircraft coming from Nur Sultan crashed when trying to land at Almaty International Airport. The NSC is investigating the cause of the accident. The two survivors are hospitalized

The Antonov An-26 is a twin-engine turboprop for civil and military transport developed in the 60s in the former Soviet Union. More than 1400 units were produced. According to the flyglobal, the Kazakh Air Force has eight units of the model.
