GOL Linhas Aéreas presented yesterday afternoon, Monday (16), at GOL Aerotech, in Confins (CNF), the second themed aircraft of the initiative “Discover Brazil: Flying” with the contribution of the Minister of Tourism, Celso Sabino and the governor of Rio Grande do Norte Fátima Bezerra, state honored in the new plane.
Created by the Ministry of Tourism, in partnership with the Ministry of Ports and Airports and the Brazilian Association of Airlines (Abear), the “Discover Brazil: Flying” initiative aims to bring together efforts by the Federal Government and the private sector to develop actions aimed at encouraging travel in Brazil, democratizing access to civil aviation and reducing the operating costs of airlines. With this second launch, the aim is to promote destinations in the Northeast region of the country.
GOL was the first airline to launch the initiative's themed aircraft, and in February it presented the aircraft that paid homage to the city of Belém (PA). Now, the aircraft from Rio Grande do Norte features a composition of elements that reflect the experiences that the destination has to offer: such as beach chairs inviting engers to enjoy the view of Morro do Careca with paragliders, as well as small cashews, a typical fruit of the region that symbolize the largest cashew tree in the world.
The PR-GTG aircraft will operate flight G3 1539 to Natal (NAT) next Friday (20) from Guarulhos (GRU) and will arrive in the capital of Rio Grande do Norte on the same day.
The concept and design of the plot were created by GOL's Creative Hub, and the application of the art on the aircraft was developed and executed by the engineering team at GOL Aerotech, located in Confins (MG). The entire visual communication and application process involved the work of several professionals, including employees from the painting, visual communication workshop and engineering areas at Aerotech.
