Helibras has signed a contract with five new customers for its flight-hour maintenance services solution, HCare Parts Availability. With this, the Brazilian helicopter manufacturer now has the entire line of Airbus helicopters, from the single-engine H125 to the most recent and heavy H225, including the new H175 and H160, covered by HCare services in Brazil.
The companies Pacific istração, Maricá Táxi Aéreo, Helibarra Táxi Aéreo, Helisul Aviação and Blue Green Empreendimentos signed agreements to hire HCare Part Availability at the 2024 Heli Expo, an international fair for the helicopter segment taking place this week in Anaheim, California (USA) . The hourly solution offers operators greater budgetary control and optimized spare parts availability through direct access to Airbus Helicopters' global inventory. Customers can now seamlessly manage their scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, preserving helicopter asset value.
According to Alberto Duek, President of Helibras, says: “We are proud to see all our Airbus helicopter models included in the HCare Parts Availability solution in Brazil. All of these models operate in the civil and government sector, enabling essential missions such as protection, rescue and for the local economy. It is therefore essential to ensure maximum availability. Our ambition for the next two years is to cover more than 40% of flight hours in the Brazilian civil market with our HCare model.”
With the arrival of five new customers to the HCare family, Helibras currently has more than 70 civil market aircraft covered by an HCare solution. In military aviation, the global fleet of H225M large helicopters is also covered by a flight-hour parts availability solution.
Helibras is the only Brazilian helicopter manufacturer. In almost 46 years of operation, the company has delivered more than 850 helicopters manufactured in the country. Helibras is a leader in the Brazilian market and has facilities in Minas Gerais, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Atibaia and Brasília. Headquartered in Itajubá–MG, the company employs around 500 people and currently produces the H125 and H225/H225M helicopters, in addition to carrying out major maintenance and modernizations for other types of aircraft.
