This Tuesday morning (06/09) a helicopter carrying Federal Deputy João Bacelar suffered an accident in the city of Monte Santo, Bahia, while transporting the politician and another candidate.
Information from the candidate for state deputy who was on board, Marcinho Oliveira, the Robinson R44 model helicopter was approaching to land in Monte Santo, when it lost balance and suffered an accident. The two politicians were traveling from Santaluz to Monte Santo.
The two politicians and the pilot suffered minor injuries, and were promptly treated by SAMU (Serviço de Assistência Móvel de Urgência) shortly after the helicopter crashed. The rally that would take place in the city located in the north of Bahia was held this Tuesday.
CENIPA (Center for Investigation and Prevention of Aeronautical Accidents) will investigate the causes of the accident.
