A Infraero published two bids for the exploration of two commercial areas in Campo de Marte Airport (SP). The spaces, which total more than 3 m², will be operated by concessionaires who will provide training center and commercial operation services in one of the main general aviation markets. Campo de Marte is the eighth terminal in number of landings and departures in the country, operating exclusively general and military aviation.
One of the tenders is for commercial exploitation of bar, restaurant and cafeteria e will be open on the 2/9, when Infraero will receive proposals for the 1,7 m² lot, which has buildings that may be altered by the future operator. The dispute will be for the best monthly bid, with a starting price of R$ 25. The concession period is 24 months.
The other bid will be for concession of area destined to a training center or technical training, being able wrap yet language school, de higher or technical education ou preparatory and professional courses. These activities will occupy an area of 1,3 thousand m², whose facilities may be modified in the future dealer. For this contract, the monthly amount minimum is R$ 8 thousand and the term of the contract is 24 months.
O Campo de Marte has a privileged location for being in the North Zone of São Paulo, close to the Tietê Bus Terminal, the Carandiru subway station, and Marginal do Tietê, which is an access route to state and interstate highways. The 72.376 aircraft that landed at the terminal in 2018 transported 118.872 engers. The monthly average of landings and takeoffs last year was 6.031 movements, with about 55% referringinto helicopter operations. The airport has infrastructure that allows for night landings and takeoffs on a 1.600-meter runway, and a helipad.
