Infraero will manage Divinópolis Airport, in Minas Gerais

Divinópolis Airport Infraero grants
The Minister of Ports and Airports, Silvio Costa Filho, formalized, through ordinance No. 176, of May 7, 2024, published this Monday (20) in the Official Gazette of the Union, the transfer of Brigadeiro Antônio Cabral Airport, in Divinópolis/MG, for Infraero, which will be responsible for the istration, operation and exploration of the Minas Gerais terminal.
 
Until then, Infraero managed and operated the terminal through a contract signed with the Municipality of Divinópolis in 2019.
 
“Infraero will continue the work already carried out at Divinópolis Airport, applying the expertise it has in airport management and the vocation for the development of regional aviation”, highlights the acting president of Infraero, Eduardo Gonzaga da Silva.
 
New grants
Infraero is undergoing market repositioning, focusing on regional airports. In this context, the Company has, to date, received the concession for the following terminals: Mossoró (RN); Vale do Aço, in Santana do Paraíso (MG); Flores, in Manaus (AM), Governador Valadares (MG), Sorriso (MT), Itaperuna (RJ), Paranavaí (PR), Ariquemes (RO), and now Divinópolis (MG). Other airports must be transferred to Infraero in accordance with the civil aviation development policy of the Ministry of Ports and Airports.
