Ponta Grossa Airport

Infraero signed a contract with the Municipality of Ponta Grossa (PR) to carry out specialized services for measuring friction and macrotexture on the runway at Comandante Antônio Amilton Beraldo Airport. The activities will be carried out within 30 days and will take place outside the airport's busy hours, to minimize possible impacts.

Friction and macrotexture measurement services are necessary to the level of adhesion of aircraft tires to the pavement, as determined by the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) to provide security for operations at the airport.

Infraero's Business Superintendent, Francisco Nunes, celebrates the partnership between the City Hall and Infraero.

“It is rewarding to help Ponta Grossa City Hall in the maintenance of the airport. In addition, this activity reinforces our role as a provider of airport services, creating even more value for customers and contributing to the development of aviation”, stressed.
