Flights departing from Paraná, from Afonso Pena International Airport (CWB), to Santiago and Buenos Aires, begin operating on June 19th and July 11th, respectively. The seasonal flight to Santiago (lasting 3h30) will have three weekly frequencies and more than 15 engers are expected in its first year. The flight to Buenos Aires (duration 2h23), also with three weekly frequencies, will have approximately more than 43 thousand engers in the same period.

The operation to Chile was designed for travelers who want to visit snow destinations in Chile, such as Valle Nevado or Nevados de Chillán, which are some of Brazilians' favorites during the winter. This launch is part of the “White Week” that JetSMART celebrates with special discounts until April 8 on its routes from Brazil to Chile.

Meanwhile, in Argentina, Brazilians will be able to discover the main attractions of the city of Buenos Aires, one of the most recognized in South America for its gastronomy and nightlife.

In Rio Grande do Sul, operations begin at Salgado Filho International Airport (POA), heading to the Argentine capital, from July 12th. Gauchos will be able to travel on three weekly flights to Buenos Aires (duration of 1h46). JetSMART estimates that it will have more than 46 thousand engers on this route in its first year of operation.

Curitiba routes have promotional fares starting at R$419 for the flight to Argentina and R$445 for the flight to Chile, in each direction. In Rio Grande do Sul the price per flight is R$ 433 each way, with taxes included.

With these new routes, JetSMART reaches ten direct flights departing from Brazil, adding to the other seven routes that already connect Florianópolis to Buenos Aires and Santiago de Chile; Rio de Janeiro with Santiago, Buenos Aires and Montevideo and São Paulo and Foz do Iguaçu (PR) with Santiago de Chile. The ultra-low-cost airline also connects São Paulo and Florianópolis to Lima, Peru, with stops in Santiago and Buenos Aires, among other connections.
