LATAM issues statement on flight la8194 that diverted to Brasilia

LATAM Airlines Brazil informs that flight LA8194 (São Paulo/Guarulhos-Miami), this Saturday (5/4), had to be diverted to Brasília to provide emergency medical care to a enger who became ill. The aircraft landed in the federal capital at 13:56 p.m., and the enger was taken to a hospital, along with his companion.</p> To avoid crew regulation, which would have occurred if the trip had continued, the flight had to be cancelled.</p> The company offered assistance to the impacted engers, who will be relocated on flight LA9458, scheduled to depart from Brasília bound for Miami at 8 am (local time) this Sunday (6/4).</p> LATAM regrets what happened and reinforces that it follows all protocols for this type of situation, reaffirming its commitment to safety, through the adoption of all necessary technical and operational measures.</p>
