LATAM opens more than 300 job vacancies in aircraft maintenance in Brazil

LATAM has just announced the opening of more than 300 job openings in aircraft maintenance in Brazil. There are opportunities for several positions in the Northeast, Southeast and Central-West regions.

In the first quarter of this year, LATAM has already hired more than 1 mechanics and assistants and carried out more than 280 internal migrations of professionals in the area of ​​aeronautical maintenance.

In December 2024, LATAM opened in Brazil the LATAM School, a professional training program for career development in the aviation market in the country. Initially focused on training new aeronautical mechanics, LATAM School classes began in January 2025, with a first group of 70 employees receiving scholarships from the company itself. LATAM is the only Brazilian airline to have a
Training Center certified by ANAC (National Civil Aviation Agency) for the training of aircraft maintenance mechanics.

 

INVESTMENTS THAT CREATE NEW JOBS

 

In November 2024, LATAM announced the investment of BRL 40 million in a new hangar at LATAM MRO in São Carlos (SP) specialized in aircraft maintenance of Boeing 787 Dreamliner and Airbus A320 aircraft, which should start operating in September 2025 and generate around 300 new jobs in the location.

Over the past two years, LATAM's fleet in Brazil grew 13%. This is the result of the company receiving 25 new aircraft directly from the factory since January 2023.

Currently, LATAM is the airline that adds the most flights and seats to the Brazilian market, operating the largest network in its history in the country, with flights to 55 airports in the country. For 2025, the company expects growth of up to 8% in its domestic seat supply (ASK*) in Brazil.
