FLEXIBILIZATIONS FOR THE CUSTOMER

LATAM recommends that customers with tickets to/from Porto Alegre check the status of their flight and, if it has been canceled, self-manage their trip directly in the section My travels Site latam.com. In this case, the customer can change their ticket free of charge to Florianópolis (SC), Caxias do Sul (RS) or Jaguaruna (SC) airports, or even request a full refund of the ticket. Customers who already have a ticket purchased for Caxias do Sul and o Fundo must check the status of their flight before heading to the airport. In both cases, the flight status can be consulted at Link.

EMERGENCY AIR MESH

From May 10 to 31, 2024, LATAM operates a total of 126 extra flights between São Paulo (SP) and the airports of Jaguaruna (SC), Florianópolis (SC) and Caxias do Sul (RS). The measure was taken to keep Porto Alegre (RS) and its metropolitan region connected with the rest of Brazil and meet its needs for transporting people and cargo through nearby airports. Any new schedule of extra flights to the region will be communicated by LATAM.
