LATAM to build Latin America's largest VIP lounge in Guarulhos

LATAM Airlines Brasil and GRU Airport have just received approval from the National Secretariat of Civil Aviation (SAC) for their contract to build the new LATAM Lounge São Paulo. As part of its initiatives to offer the best travel experience to engers, the company will invest R$115 million in the new structure at Terminal 3 of Guarulhos Airport (São Paulo), with construction scheduled to begin in April 2025. With 4,7 square meters, the investment will give the company the largest VIP lounge in Latin America in an airport that is absolutely strategic, as it is one of its main airports. hubs (connection center) in the region.

The new LATAM Lounge São Paulo will adopt the airline's new lounge concept, which debuted at Santiago airport (Chile) in 2022. In practice, these are more modern and comfortable spaces that sustainably embrace the culture, food, hospitality and elements of the country in which they are located. In addition, they are committed to developing talent and raw materials from South America. In the coming years, LATAM also plans to open new lounges with this concept at the airports of Lima (Peru) and Miami (United States).

LATAM lounges are available to LATAM customers in the Black Signature, Black and Platinum categories, as well as engers with international tickets for flights in the cabin.
