Líder Aviação has added a Gulfstream G-450 jet to its fleet dedicated to air charter services. The aircraft, owned by a third party, will be managed by the company.
The jet can accommodate up to 16 engers and has a maximum range of 8,1 km, which allows direct flights from São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro to all of Latin America, as well as to the southeast of the USA (Florida). It is possible to make the trip with just one stopover, departing from SP and RJ.
“With this new contract, we will further expand flight possibilities, especially to international destinations. Our charter customers gain in convenience, with the possibility of traveling to the US more quickly,” explains Bruna Assumpção, superintendent of Líder Aviação.
The jet will the fleet through the aircraft management service, in which Líder manages equipment owned by third parties, including airport services, maintenance, crew, fueling, renewal of licenses and certifications, and aviation insurance. And with the opportunity to charter flights for third parties, the owner can make the most of his aircraft, reducing his costs.
According to Bruna Assumpção, “management in executive aviation is a true win-win. Líder wins by including a current, modern, long-range jet in its fleet, customers win by having another aircraft available for international flights, and the owner gains security and peace of mind by having the expertise of a company with over 65 years in this market managing his aircraft, and he can also generate savings by making it available for charter when he is not using the equipment.”
With the arrival of the jet, Líder's fleet for specific use in air taxis now has 16 aircraft, including jets such as Hondajet, Learjet, Phenom and Hawker, turboprops such as KingAir and the Airbus H-145 helicopter. The aircraft are authorized for operation throughout Brazil and abroad and have dedicated operations at Líder's 21 bases, spread across the five regions of Brazil. The company is the only one in Brazil to have IS-BAO level 3 certification, granted by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC), for charter services.
The Gulfstream G-450 is expected to be available to charter customers from November 2024.
