Contract renewal and new base in Congonhas

Líder Aviação will continue to operate in Congonhas Airport. The company has transferred its operations to a new building and hangar, located on the other side of the runway and which is already operating normally. The change provides a more modern space, with easy access via Avenida dos Bandeirantes and the North-South corridor, the main roads in the region. In the new configuration, the base on site offers charter, management, aircraft sales, hangarage and airport service services, with a focus on fixed wings (aircraft).

"Maintaining our operations at Congonhas is a great achievement, as the airport is strategically located close to the main financial and corporate areas of São Paulo. The new facility offers a more modern and comfortable environment for our customers, with a more sophisticated VIP lounge coming soon, and all the specialized services of executive aviation.“, says Junia.

This will be the company's 22nd base and, according to the agreement with the concessionaire, Pax Airports, Líder will occupy, starting in January 2025, a hangar that will have as its operational focus rotary wing operations (helicopters), covering maintenance, chartering, management, hangarage and airport services.

"We will now have a dedicated space for helicopter customers, with our own VIP lounge and hangar, and with greater operating capacity than we had before.”, explains Junia.

Opened in November 2023, Líder will occupy a hangar measuring approximately 2025 m4 entirely and exclusively as of January 2. The location will provide the maintenance service with a newer, dedicated hangar designed for this purpose. In addition, at Sorocaba Airport there is no need for a slot for landings and takeoffs, which will speed up the receipt of aircraft for maintenance, unlike what happens at the airport in the capital of São Paulo.

"The decision to invest in Sorocaba was made with the aim of expanding our maintenance capacity and offering even greater agility to our customers. We are now fully prepared for this expansion and will always maintain the excellence of the services provided at the airport, which has already established itself as an aircraft maintenance hub. “, explains Junia.

The maintenance unit is further strengthened by the partnership signed with Helicidade Heliport, through the provision of on-site maintenance services for Bell Helicopters and Leonardo helicopters.”With this agreement, we will simplify logistics for owners of Bell and Leonardo helicopters operating at Helicidade, as they will be able to carry out maintenance at the heliport where they are already present.”, details the CEO.
