The Government of Morocco has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Embraer to launch potential t projects in the Moroccan aerospace sector. The agreement covers the areas of commercial aviation, defense and urban air mobility. The MoU also recognizes the mutual desire to strengthen and expand cooperation and investment between the Brazilian Government and the Kingdom of Morocco, around the construction of a broader Atlantic Cooperation between two models of the Global South.
The agreement between Embraer and the Moroccan Government was signed by the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Ryad Mezzour; the Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies, Karim Zidane; the Director General of the Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development, Ali Seddiki; and the President and CEO of Embraer Commercial Aviation, Arjan Meijer.
