F-35A Lightning II fighters from the RNoAF, Royal Norwegian Air Force, participated for the first time in exercise Red-Flag 21-2, which took place from March 8 to 19 at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, USA.
The RNoAF sent four F-35A fighters to the US, the stealth vectors are the most modern fighters of the air force, which also operates the F-16 Fighting Falcon.
In addition to the host air force of Norway and the US, Red Flag 21-2 was also attended by Singapore, Sweden and six other NATO countries.

This is already the second edition of Red Flag that took place this year, the first took place in january, however, brought together only squadrons from the USAF itself.
However, the RNoAF maintains about 10 F-35A fighters at another air base in the US, the ten fighters are at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona.
According to Scramble Magazine website, the Norwegian stealths are in training with the 62nd Fighter Squadron spikes, which trains Norwegian, Italian and American F-35 pilots daily.
US presence in Norway:

It's not just Norwegian fighters and military in the US, the Americans have crossed the ocean and are deployed to Norway with their B-1B Lancer bombers in the Nordic European country for the first time.
The B-1B Lancer bombers have been at Ørland Station since February and have already flown across the region.
