The fourth repatriation flight of Brazilians from Lebanon took off today (11/10) at 12:25 pm (Brasília time) from Beirut. The Brazilian Air Force KC-30 aircraft, which is operating the route, is expected to land in Guarulhos on Saturday morning (12/10).
211 engers, including 12 infants, will return to Brazil. In total, the t operation by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense will have removed 885 people and 11 domestic animals from Lebanon in one week.
Upon arrival in Guarulhos, the operation also has the of the Ministry of Social Development and Fight Against Hunger, the Ministry of Health, the Federal Police and the Federal Revenue Service.
The Itamaraty, through the Brazilian Embassy in Beirut, is in with Brazilians and their close relatives to provide them with consular assistance and organize a new repatriation flight, depending on security conditions on the ground.
The Brazilian government reiterates its warning that everyone should follow the safety guidelines of local authorities and, for those who have the resources to do so, should try to leave Lebanese territory by their own means. Beirut airport remains in operation and the Lebanese company Middle East Airlines has increased its number of flights.
