O Palmeiras will use its plane to transport donations to flood victims in Rio Grande do Sul. The aircraft, an Embraer E190-E2 (PS-LMP), will transport 2,5 tons of food and other cargo. The humanitarian flight is scheduled to take place next Saturday (11).
In addition to helping with its plane, Palmeiras also announced that it will donate all proceeds from the game against Athletico-PR, scheduled to take place next Sunday (09/05), the match will feature actions so that fans can also contribute with donations.
The Embraer 190-E2 with registration number PS-LMP can carry up to 98 engers, and its configuration can be adapted for up to 114 seats.
The plane has a range of 5.278 km (2.850 nautical miles), guaranteeing direct flights within South America without the need for stopovers. The purchase of the aircraft aims to provide greater flexibility for the Palmeiras squad when traveling throughout Brazil and the continent, in addition to generating savings with direct charters with airlines. Placar will also make the plane available for charter to other teams when Palmeiras is not using it.
