An RAF CH-47 Chinook made an emergency landing after a possible collision with high voltage wires. The pilots decided to land in a field near Llangynin, Carmarthenshire. The fact happened around 22:30 last Tuesday (28).
According to Fighter Jets World website the Chinook crew suffered “minor injuries” and there were no major problems. However, a medical team was sent to the site to provide to the military.

The helicopter was conducting routine training when the large helicopter incident occurred.
“An RAF Odiham Chinook on a routine training screening was involved in an incident which required him to make a landing in a field near Pembrey”, said an RAF spokesman.
