In partnership with The LED and Aena Brasil, Kallas Mídia OOH delivers a new LED tunnel in the arrivals area of the Recife Airport. This is the second generation in the company's portfolio, which had already carried out a similar installation at Congonhas Airport, in São Paulo, in December 2021.
The novelty arrives with some differentials, such as the possibility of using 3D movies and sound effects for settings, expanding the visual and sensory experience during the enger's journey through the airport. The modern and bold structure has two large walls, two front s and a ceiling with digital signaling arrows, totaling 40m² of LED.
The digitization works inside the airport go beyond the tunnel, guarantees the CEO of Kallas Mídia OOH, Rodrigo Kallas, who adds: “Along with the inauguration of the tunnel, we will bring even more technology to the terminal, including LED s in access to the airport, in the food court, boarding, x-ray, as well as digital signs and furniture at the accesses to the airport”.

In January of this year, AENA Brasil, the concessionaire responsible for the istration of Recife Airport, announced the expansion and modernization of the site, scheduled for completion in the second half of 2023.
The revitalization includes a boarding area seven thousand m² larger than the current one, new stores, restaurants, VIP rooms, auditoriums, new boarding bridges, in addition to automating the patio and boarding rooms and the baggage system.
“This tunnel in partnership with Kallas is part of the type of experience we want to offer our engers when they land in the capital of Pernambuco. A welcoming, interactive, careful and unique arrival, which will be marked in the 's memory”, said the Director of Institutional Relations and Communication at Aena Brasil, Marcelo Bento.
Recife Airport is the busiest in the Brazilian Northeast, and last year it transported 8.242.852 engers.
