Recife consolidates itself as Azul's main hub in the Northeast

Azul will offer 1,4 million seats on flights to or from Recife/Guararapes – Gilberto Freyre International Airport during the high summer season, which will run from December 16, 2024 to February 2, 2025.

This number of seats represents an increase of 8,3% compared to the same period last year, reflecting the growing demand for travel to the capital of Pernambuco.

During this period, Azul will connect its main hub in the Northeast, Recife, to 49 locations, including strategic airports such as Campinas (SP), Guarulhos (SP), Congonhas (SP), Confins (MG), Galeão (RJ) and Fortaleza (CE).

This increase in capacity reflects our strategy of strengthening regional connectivity and providing an excellent travel experience,” highlights Vitor Silva, General Manager of Network, Strategic Planning and Alliances at Azul.
