From October 7th, the airports of Crateús, Sobral, São Benedito and Iguatu, in Ceará, will expand their regular flight options to the capital Fortaleza (CE). The new routes will be sold by the airline Azul using Cessna Grand Caravan aircraft, with capacity for up to 9 engers.
The Crateús-Fortaleza route will run five times a week, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and on Saturdays. The Sobral-Fortaleza, São Benedito-Fortaleza and Iguatu-Fortaleza routes will be offered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
The manager of Infraero at Ceará airports, Alysson Cabral, highlights that the Company always seeks to contribute to attracting new flights and frequencies. “The new flight options between the capital and the interior represent an advance for the region and will strengthen the development of new businesses and tourism activities”, added Cabral.
For Vitor Silva, general manager of Planning and Strategy at Azul, the expansion is another step taken by the company to develop regional aviation and increase connectivity in Ceará. “Azul’s operations in the state of Ceará are increasingly stronger. These changes reflect our commitment to serving our customers even more and better, providing more convenience and travel options for everyone”, highlighted the executive.
Flights are now available on the Azul website, at the sales center or at partner travel agencies.
