The Royal Thai Air Force performed an Elephant Walk with JAS 39 Gripen C/D fighter jets belonging to the 7th Wing Surat Thani located south of the capital Bangkok.
Altogether there were 9 Gripens fighters in addition to a Saab 340AEW close air warning plane.
The Thai fighters took off for a t flight and performed several exercises.
An “Elephant Walk” is a large military aerial exercise involving many aircraft. The exercise serves to improve the capabilities of the military and is also seen as a show of war power of a given nation.
