Royal Thai Air Force performs Elephant Walk with Gripen C/D fighters

The Royal Thai Air Force conducted an Elephant Walk with JAS 39 Gripen C/D fighters belonging to the 7th Wing Surat Thani located south of the capital Bangkok.</p> In total there were 9 Gripens in addition to a Saab 340AEW close-air warning aircraft.</p> The Thai fighter jets took off for a t flight and carried out several exercises.</p> An "Elephant Walk" is a large-scale military aerial exercise involving many aircraft. The exercise serves to hone the capabilities of the military and is also seen as a demonstration of a nation's military might.</p> ;</p></p>
