Russia's Tu-160 strategic bombers complete a flight over the neutral waters of the Baltic Sea

Two Tu-160 strategic bombers of the Aerospace Forces have completed a planned flight in airspace over the neutral waters of the Baltic Sea. Altogether the flight time of the aircraft exceeded eight hours.

At certain stages of the route, long-range aircraft were accompanied by F-18 fighters from the Finnish Air Force, F-16 from Poland and Saab JAS 39 Gripen from the Swedish air force.

Long Range Pilots regularly fly over the neutral waters of the Arctic, North Atlantic, Black and Baltic Seas and the Pacific Ocean.

All flights of Russian aerospace forces are carried out in strict accordance with the International Airspace Management System, without violating the borders of other states.
