This weekend, the airports of Campinas (Viracopos) and Salvador will receive a special visit from a freighter manufactured in Russia, the Ilyushin IL-76.
The plane operated by Volga-Dnepr Airlines should through Salvador on the 30th, when it will land at 14:00 pm on a flight from Accra (ACC-Ghana). The departure from the capital of Bahia will be on January 31st, at 08:00 am.
From Salvador, the plane goes to Campinas, where it lands at 10:30 am. The takeoff from the interior of São Paulo takes place at 00:30 on February 1st, in the early hours of Monday.
The times are in GMT -3, from Brasilia.

This IL-76 operation will be fully freighter and not regular. The IL-76 has already visited Brazil on other occasions, but its operation here is seasonal.
The aircraft stands out for being designed at the time of the Soviet Union, with a different noise from its four jet engines, also manufactured in Russia. The IL-76 is 46,59 meters long and has a wingspan of 50,50 meters.
