During the 2021 Operational Coordination Meeting, held by the Southeast Airspace Regional Control Center (CRCEA-SE), in São Paulo, the Aldeia Control Tower (TWR-ES) of Naval Air Base of São Pedro da Aldeia obtained the first position in its category, with an index of 100% efficiency.
CRCEA-SE is responsible for providing COMAER's airspace control and telecommunications services in its area of jurisdiction, which covers the air terminals of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro and includes six of the airports with the highest volume of air flow in the country. , such as: Guarulhos, Congonhas, Tom Jobim, Santos Dumont, Marte and Jacarepaguá.
It should also be noted that the other BAeNSPA Air Navigation Service Providers: Aldeia Approach Control (APP-ES), Surface Meteorological Station (EMS-ES), Military Meteorological Center (CMM-ES) were also among the first placed.
This award corroborates with the pursuit of customer satisfaction, in meeting the technical standards in force, maintaining the commitment to aviation safety and the mentality of continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.
