São José dos Campos Airport celebrates 1 year since the resumption of commercial flights

SJK Airport celebrates its first year of resuming commercial enger flights, with a positive impact on regional air mobility. Since the first GOL Linhas Aéreas flight on March 27, 2024, approximately 35 engers have used the airport, consolidating its relevance for commercial aviation in the State of São Paulo, especially in the Vale do Paraíba region.

Over the past 12 months, the terminal has recorded 336 landings and takeoffs, maintaining high levels of regularity and punctuality. The average flight occupancy rate has remained stable, with peaks of 99% during long holidays and international events, in addition to strong demand from the corporate segment.

The airport offers flights to major cities in Brazil, with quick connections in Rio de Janeiro. The most popular destinations for engers departing from São José dos Campos are the capital of Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, Recife, Fortaleza, Belo Horizonte, Curitiba, Florianópolis, Navegantes, Porto Alegre, Buenos Aires, among others.
