Domingo Aéreo, also known as Portão Abertos, aims to bring the Institution closer to the population of São Paulo, in addition to showcasing the work of Air Force personnel and carrying out aerial demonstrations of various FAB aircraft, in addition to static exhibitions.
The event will take place on September 29, 2024, at Campo de Marte on Avenida Santos Dumont, 2241, in the Santana neighborhood, in the North Zone of São Paulo and has been organized by the São Paulo Aeronautical Material Park – PAMA-SP since 1988.
The event is an opportunity to strengthen ties between the Military Organization and the citizens of the region. With free ission and a structure to receive more than 100 people, fun is guaranteed for visitors of all ages. Domingo Aéreo will bring together activities for the whole family, with cultural, children's and gastronomic programming and attractions for fans of the aerial demonstration squadrons and enthusiasts of military activities.
The program includes the participation of the Smoke Squadron, a Rappelling Demonstration, an aircraft flyover, as well as a static display of several FAB planes, engines and helicopters. Visitors will also be able to watch performances by the Army Police Scout Motorcyclists, dogs from the Metropolitan Civil Guard Kennel, the São Paulo Air Force Base Music Band and an exhibition of historic vehicles. Domingo Aéreo will also carry out prevention and health care actions, with stands offering medical and dental advice.
