The attack to a refinery in Saudi Arabia last Saturday, it is still highlighted in the international news, even more so due to the possibility of using cruise missiles in the attack.
According to an official interviewed by CNN, which is linked to US intelligence, the attack did not come from Iraq, but has the possibility of having come from Iran or Yemen.
Even in a communiqué issued today by the Prime Minister of Iraq, he confirms that it was not from the country that the attack on the refinery located in Saudi territory was launched.

On the other hand, the news agency Al-Masirah, on Saturday itself (the day of the attack), he declared that the Houthis rebel group took responsibility for the attack on the refinery. According to them, approximately 10 precision drones were used to attack.
But the rebel group's claim was refuted by US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who said the attack came from Iraq and blamed neighboring Iran. which is having some international tensions, including with the US. both nations already exchanged statements in a threatening tone this year.
Another issue on the agenda is the Saudi air defense, which would not have been able to prevent the attack of drones and possible cruise missiles, thus using the air defense system. In the graphic below we can see the air defense installations (which includes the Patriot PAC-2 system) in strategic locations in the refinery.

The post-attack is already having repercussions in the world, the drop in shares in the USA is already visible, which was already possible to expect, since the USA is the major client of Saudi Arabia's oil.
The US also plays an important role in the country's sovereignty, because it is the main supplier of arms to the Arabs.
