Swissport will once again be responsible for handling the aircraft that will be displayed during Labace 2024, the second most important executive aviation event taking place in São Paulo between August 6th and 8th, at Congonhas Airport. In total, there will be more than 40 aircraft on display and around 20 thousand visitors. The company will also have a stand at the fair, to present its ground services for the executive aviation segment.
One of the largest ground handling companies in the world, Swissport provides specialized services in the enger service segments, with check-in and baggage retention; ramp services with cleaning, loading, unloading and movement of aircraft; executive aviation with flight and overflight permits; cargo and large cargo aviation services; helicopter services; and security services.
“It is a great pleasure to once again participate in Labace as an official handler. It is a precise operation with a very short space of time, which makes our work a challenge”, says Carlos Britez, CEO of Swissport.
The executive aviation market has always been very important for the company throughout the time it has operated in Brazil, which is why its directors believe that participating in Labace is a great showcase to showcase its services. “We bring all our experience to the biggest fair in the segment, and we take the opportunity to invite our customers and friends to meet us at our stand and participate in the most important event in executive aviation”, highlights Britez.
Swissport has been present in the country for more than 20 years and in 13 of the main Brazilian airports, generating almost 5.000 direct jobs. Around the world, it operates in 286 airports and has more than 60 thousand employees. In 2023, Swissport International AG provided first-class airport ground services to around 232 million airline engers and handled approximately 4,7 million tonnes of air cargo at 115 air cargo hubs worldwide.
