An Air Canada Boeing 777-300 (C-FITL) was nearly set on fire after a truck caught fire near the aircraft. The incident happened yesterday (09/07) at the Montreal airport, ironically the fire truck was transporting water to supply the plane.
Despite the truck being practically under the plane, the Air Canada triple seven only suffered damage to the fuselage. The fire was brought under control only after fire trucks arrived at the scene.
Videos that are circulating on social networks show the proximity of the burning truck, which almost became a tragedy. In view of the unexpected fact, the airport was closed until the situation was controlled.
