A US Navy F/A-18F Super Hornet fighter crashed yesterday (18) in the Philippine Sea region. The fighter was on a routine flight when the fighter crashed. The two aviators managed to eject safely and were rescued by a rescue team from the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71), the same place where the naval fighter took off.
The case, which is being treated by the authorities “as an incident”, is already being investigated by the military authorities.
“The incident occurred when the Super Hornet F/A-18F assigned to Carrier Air Wing 11 was conducting routine pilot proficiency training,” says the statement.

“The incident is currently under investigation. Both airmen have been evaluated by the medical team aboard Theodore Roosevelt and are in good condition. ”
