The King Air 350 MEK is an intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) aircraft used by the US Army for data and intelligence gathering.

SNC modified the King Air so that the aircraft has greater range, more engine power and is quieter. The modifications also increase the turboprop's operating weight while maintaining shorter runway operating capabilities.

This month, SNC delivered the ninth of 16 aircraft purchased by the Army. The company, which is a partner of Embraer and assembles the Super Toucan in the US, converts the aircraft at its facility in Hagerstown, Maryland.
