the ukrainian state Antonov suspended negotiations to start aircraft production in Brazil due to recent statements by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva on the war in Ukraine.

Representatives in Brazil of the Ukrainian state-owned company Antonov had already expressed interest in opening a factory in two states: São Paulo and Paraná. The planned investment would be US$ 50 billion with the generation of 10 thousand direct and indirect jobs.

The business plan included the construction of an industrial plant covering 70 square meters, technology transfer and a test track of at least 2.400 x 50 meters in an estimated timeline of five years.
