During a resupply mission, a Bell UH-1N model helicopter used by the Colombian Army crashed in the city of Quibdó causing the death of four people, all of whom were on board the aircraft.
Helicopter registration EJC4227 crashed wildly while carrying out a t resupply mission with the Colombian armed forces. The video recorded by a resident of the region, shows the aircraft falling in a spin in a few seconds hitting the ground.
Among the victims was the first woman to pilot the Bell UH-1N in addition to the other crew . No casualties on the ground were recorded,
“Procedures were immediately initiated to initiate investigations and determine the causes of the incident,” informed the National Army of the Colombia.
