Recognized as one of the most important events for foreign trade, the Viracopos Excelência Logística reaches its 9th edition on the 29th of November, at the Casa de Campo of the Hotel Royal Palm Plaza, in Campinas (SP).
The event will be in person again this year, but following all the health protocols provided for due to the Covid-19 pandemic, such as the mandatory use of masks and gel alcohol. In the last edition, the Award took place virtually.
Launched on June 28, 2013, the Viracopos Excellence Logistics Award aims to highlight the logistics performance of companies operating in foreign trade through the Cargo Terminal at Viracopos International Airport.
Organized by the concessionaire Aeroportos Brasil Viracopos, the Award recognizes and encourages the efficiency of companies and their service provider chain in foreign trade. This year, 134 Importing Companies, 39 Cargo Agents, 49 Commissioners of Customs Dispatch, 57 Road Transport Companies and 15 Airlines competed for the Viracopos Award. There are also special awards for the Outstanding Exporter and Outstanding Customs Broker.
All 134 competing importing companies featured in the Logistics Efficiency Ranking in the period evaluated, which runs from August 2020 to July 2021. These companies competed for awards in 10 segments: Automotive, Miscellaneous, Pharmaceuticals, Metalworking, Special Regime TC-1, Technology and TC-6 Special Regime for Automotive, Miscellaneous, Metalworking and Technology.
In its 9th edition, the Award consolidates itself as one of the most important events in Brazil in the field of cargo logistics. The national logistics chain of this sector already identifies in the award an opportunity to have the quality and efficiency of the company recognized by the market.
The verification of the results is subject to an independent external audit and has the of CIESP Campinas.
