Viracopos International Airport, in Campinas (SP), is competing for the 29th Sindusfarma Quality Award in the category “Storage of medicines in customs areas in the primary zone (Ports and Airports)”.
The Sindusfarma Quality Award is the pharmaceutical industry's biggest award, recognizing the main suppliers and service providers that achieve the highest quality standards in the sector.
Viracopos is associated with Sindusfarma, which is the union that represents the Brazilian pharmaceutical industry and works to strengthen the sector, contributing to the improvement of the country's healthcare system.

In September 2024, Viracopos obtained the Good Storage Practices Certificate (CBPA) for cargo with the aim of attracting more importing and exporting customers of medicines and pharmaceutical industry inputs. The document was issued by Anvisa (National Health Surveillance Agency) after an audit was carried out at the Cargo Terminal.
According to the Anvisa audit, Viracopos had 100% of the items assessed approved, as there were no non-conformities recorded in the process. Just like ISO 9001 and CEIV PHARMA Certification, CBPA offers greater security to customers, ensuring effective processes and excellence in the provision of services.

In addition to the CBPA, Viracopos is already recognized in the market for having other certificates to receive cargo from the pharmaceutical industry. At the end of 2022, Viracopos achieved the CEIV-PHARMA international recertification, which accredited the terminal to become one of the main airports in Latin America for importing and exporting pharmaceutical industry products.
The CEIV-PHARMA (Center of Excellence for Independent Validators in Pharmaceutical Logistics) global certification, issued by IATA (International Air Transport Association), aims to help organizations and the entire air cargo supply chain achieve excellence in logistics. pharmaceutical products. With this certificate, Viracopos became recognized as a global operator of pharmaceutical product cargo.
In addition, the concessionaire Aeroportos Brasil Viracopos, of the airport, received in September 2022, the highest score from the certifying body DNV GL in ISO 9001:2015 Recertification for the scope of Infrastructure Management and Airport Services for Cargo Logistics (TECA) and enger Boarding and Unboarding.
