Viracopos International Airport in Campinas (SP) started this week a special service for receiving e-commerce goods that should speed up the receipt of express shipments throughout the Southeast region of the country. TECEX Viracopos started the operation with four specialized companies that occupy an exclusive area within the Cargo Terminal to process import packages.
The location will have a different flow and all operators are qualified in the Federal Revenue Service's Conforming Remittance Program. The Viracopos TECEX will house 04 companies and will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A pilot test at the location was successfully carried out on January 15th by the company PHX.

“Our expectation is that the express shipping package will be released within a few hours, to be delivered safely and quickly to the customers of the respective companies operating at TECEX in Viracopos,” said Viracopos Commercial Director, Maria Fan.
